Conquer Divide is a metalcore band formed in 2013, born from the meeting of four musicians from different backgrounds who each brought their own style and experience to the project. The founding members of Conquer Divide are Janel Duarte (vocals/bass), Kiarely Castillo (vocals), Kristen Sturgis (guitars) and Tamara Tadic (drums).
Their lyrics tackle themes such as resilience, empowerment and overcoming adversity. The powerful voices of Janel Duarte and Kiarely Castillo blend harmoniously to create an intense atmosphere. The band's distinctive blend of brutal and melodic songwriting has contributed to their growing popularity.
Their self-titled debut EP, released in 2015, immediately captured the imagination of metalcore fans worldwide. With catchy guitar riffs, powerful breaks and catchy melodies, Conquer Divide proved they had the talent and potential to become a must-see band on the metal scene. After a long period of almost seven years with no announcements, they released "Slow Burn" in 2023, an album of modern US metalcore that represents the best of the genre.
