Born on 26 July 1992 in Sydney, Australia, Plini Roessler-Holgate embarked on a musical career that led him to become one of the leading figures in instrumental progressive metal.
In the early 2010s, Plini made a name for himself on platforms such as SoundCloud and YouTube. His mastery of the guitar and unique approach to songwriting, inspired by the work of Joe Satriani, one of his main influences, caught the public's attention, paving the way for his solo career.
In 2013, Plini released his debut EP, 'Other Things', which demonstrated the evolution of his style, seamlessly blending progressive and instrumental elements. This release marked the beginning of her solo career, attracting the interest of a growing number of fans.
2016 saw the release of his first full-length studio album, 'Handmade Cities'. The album showcased Plini's musical maturity, fusing progressive metal with jazz and ambient influences. He subsequently embarked on several tours, both headlining and supporting well-known bands.
In 2020, Plini released his second studio album, 'Impulse Voices', a veritable work of music, each part of which is orchestrated to create airy, delicate atmospheres based on precise melodic research.
In his latest EP, "Mirage", released in 2023, Plini proves once again that he is a unique artist, somewhere between modernity and tradition.
