Ten is a British hard rock band formed in the 1990s by guitarist and composer Gary Hughes, the band's main songwriter. Since its inception, Ten has undergone several member changes, but Gary Hughes has always been the core member and creative driving force behind the band.
Ten first came to prominence with their debut album, entitled "X", released in 1996. The album was very well received by critics and hard rock fans alike. Their musical style blends elements of classic hard rock with touches of progressive melodies and epic symphonies.
Over the years, Ten have released a number of critically acclaimed albums, including "The Name of the Rose" (1996), "Spellbound" (1999), "Babylon" (2000) and "Stormwarning" (2011). The band gained popularity in Europe and Asia, where they built up a loyal fan base.
Despite breaks and member changes, Ten has continued to release new albums and tour regularly. The band has also participated in numerous rock festivals, sharing the stage with renowned acts such as Deep Purple, Europe and Magnum.
