Swedish melodic hard rock is doing well, as we have seen in recent years with the successes of Treat, H.E.A.T., Work Of Art and W.E.T. to name a few. A little newcomer is coming to the celebration today. His name is Art Nation and his first essay, called "Revolution", is released this summer after a few concerts that have built an encouraging reputation for them.
After a catchy single - the title "Moving On" which appears on "Revolution", but in a non-acoustic version this time - and a second - "One Is Better Than No One" - more striking since it was named Official Charity Song 2014 by the Doctors Without Borders association, the Swedes have decided to move up a gear and propose their first LP which should be classified in the register of their colleagues H.E.A.T. and W.E.T..
Here is a record combining AOR sounds, melodic hard rock impulses and melodic metal moments. This new production is particularly catchy because of the accuracy of the highly galvanizing melodies it contains - "Need To Understand", "Start A Fire", "Look To The Sky" and "All In" are even potential hits - and because of the talent of the musicians. It should also be noted that drummer Carl Tudén won the Swedish Drum Championships.
The level of this new offering of the Swedish people deserves, without further delay, that you dwell on it. "Revolution" will undoubtedly bring you sensations similar to those felt when listening to the recent opuses of H.E.A.T. and Treat.
