One year after making a strong impression with "Dissolution", the last album of The Pineapple Thief, Bruce Soord is already back with his second personal album, after having devoted himself to the exercise for the first time in 2015, with the release of a first opus logically and simply called "Solo".

This time, it was the birth of a third child that inspired the frontman. Musically speaking, there is no great innovation. Bruce Soord offers nine tracks in the vein of his usual style, but this "All This Will Be Yours" has a more peaceful side than usual. All the compositions are deeply marked by the omnipresence of the musician's acoustic guitar. The formats are short, often minimalist and refined.

From the very first moments, a peaceful and mysterious atmosphere settles in. 'Our Gravest Threat Apart' starts off smoothly: small sound effects in the background giving a slightly electro dimension, a discreet piano, a bass drum, folk guitar harmonics. "The Solitary Path Of A Convicted Man" is certainly the track that stands out the most with its well found chorus, always led by the beautiful voice of Bruce Soord. It is this ingredient that will make this album so refined and successful. 'Times Does Not Not Exist', with its debut based on the acoustic guitar/voice duo, highlights the delicacy of the voice, with melodies reminiscent of Coldplay's early albums.

But all this sweetness deserves to be contrasted and nuanced by more catchy sections as it is the case on The Pineapple Thief albums. "One Day I Will Leave You", although pleasant, does not offer anything new. it is pleasant, but ends up going in circles.

To conclude, Bruce Soord's "All This Will Be Yours" is an intimate, pleasant and calm album that can be listened to quietly but lack of diversity.
