"Close to Giant, Foreigner or Survivor, "Time For A Miracle" is still an excellent new album of melodic Hard Rock coming from cold."

Already two years ago, Music Waves had spotted the release of the first album of a new Swedish melodic hard rock band called Perfect Plan. "All Rise" had offered us a nice album where the influences of a few big names of the genre crossed. This delicacy, cooked in a Swedish sauce, had convinced us not to forget to pay attention to the release of the second production of these men of the North.

"Time For A Miracle" is then the new born of the band and if it won't be the expected revolution it was designed with intentions to accentuate the energy developed. The melodic qualities of Perfect Plan having crossed a new level here, it is quite natural to admit that this opus is witnessing a rise in power of the combo.

"Time For A Miracle" is thus more muscular but also more diversified: the palette has widened and offers us Scandinavian AOR, blues rock, melodic hard rock and ballads. This display of genres allows us to cross some nice references like Giant, Foreigner, Survivor or One Desire. In the play of the titles which emerge, let us note the eponymous title and its intro with the drum which recalls the 'Crossfire' of the Scorpions. No hesitation, this track is the best of the album. Placed at the beginning of an opus it sets the tone of the whole: energetic and melodic. Let's also mention the severely melodic 'What About Love', the very Foreigner 'Living On The Run' and 'Don't Leave Me Here Alone', a huge ballad in the spirit of what Jimi Jamison could propose.

Even if it will eventually upset some people, Sweden continues to offer great melodic  hard rock opus. It allows us to glean quality albums at a high frequency and also encourages the replicas expected by the competitors. So we have everything to gain from it.

POP - Simon Collins relaunches his solo adventure with a pop record very impregnated with electro but still very melodic.

ALTERNATIVE ROCK - With this new project En Minor, Phil Anselmo indulges in depression and offers us a deeply boring album.
