"Each track of "Dream Hunting" under its superbly arranged pop rock appearance could be the sound illustration of an excellent book to escape."

Lonny Zyblat is a citizen of the world whose travels have undoubtedly nourished his musical work. From his origins, the artist has taken a taste for acoustic melodies that he uses to embellish pop tracks in a classic British vein that he loves, as evidenced by his first album released in 2011 "Songs From The Drawer". Only where that first solo effort was mostly intimate, "Dream Hunting" brings more relief and contrast.
Lonny Zyblat is a storyteller of musical stories where the sleepy one frolics in reveries created by his sensitive mind as testifies the singular 'Lost And Found' which begins like a nice ditty with the dry guitar progressing towards quasi psychedelic movements as if it were the soundtrack of "Alice In Wonderland".
But to summarize Lonny Zyblat's work to simple sensitive pop tracks like the opening 'Healing' would be to misunderstand the musician: the experience acquired in particular within Modest Midget and then during his multiple collaborations for classical music as well as for film scores constitutes as many assets to build a more extensive work than expected. 'Another Day' is the perfect example with its ethereal atmosphere and a beautiful use of aerial electro rhythms in the Craig Armstrong style, approaching trip hop.
This album is almost a kind of journey of a restless night passing from the intimate (the minimalist and touching 'Days Of Peace' conceived as a small soothing lullaby, childish with these small sounds of bells) to the most anguishing ('Lady Witch' with its vaporous piano, the dark little brother of the previous track). In these reveries, 'Barby Q' is almost an intruder with its light air close to Aqua ('Barby Girl') but it amuses and disturbs at the same time, affirming the freedom of tone of the artist. The other strong point of Lonny Zyblat is to bring to each of his tracks, like a goldsmith, small arrangements which add a supplement of soul, sometimes humorous ('Stuck' with its kinds of small bubbles which seem to burst at the end of the track) or of folk sensitivity ('Phony Baits') allowing to maintain the attention.
"Dream Hunting" could perfectly be the sound illustration of a good book of Carlos Ruiz Zafon who attached great importance to childhood and dreams. Each track is a chapter where the listener builds his own images guided by the mutinous and sensitive music of an artist with an engaging personality. - Official website
