With "Rat Child", the Americans of Crobot had proposed a very nice EP, in a 70's hard rock style and showing a band in great shape. One year later, the fourth album of the band, "Feel This", arrives to throw us a good dose of hard rock.
Composed of twelve tracks, "Feel This" is a pure concentrate of raw energy, very varied. The band signs a few nice fireworks totally in the spirit of the genre's revival, with huge choruses, a powerful vocals and a rock feeling in each riff.
Moreover Crobot varies intelligently the subject. 'Dizzy' has a strong stoner spirit with a big chorus, a fat side and a big punch. The band also likes to show a more melodic and catchy side: 'Set You Free', 'Golden', 'Dance With The Dead' and 'Staring Straight Into The Sun' offer catchy melodies. The veiled vocals evoke Soundgarden. We enjoy very effective pop tinted choruses and riffs and soli in the spirit of Aerosmith for the old school 70's, energetic and melodic side.
With "Feel This", Crobot shows a surprising ease for a hard rock at the same time burning and terribly catchy. - Official website
