"The Last Rager" allowed us to wait before finding a very awaited seventh album of Municipal Waste. This one comes five years after "Slime And Punishement" and is called "Electrified Brain". At the sight of its explosive cover, it is easy to guess that the band doesn't intend to calm down despite its twenty years of career.

Composed of 14 tracks for barely more than half an hour of listening, the record goes straight to the point. It's a real blast from the beginning to the end once the intro of the opening track is over. Municipal Waste destroy everything on its path with its fast and rhythmic Thrash and its Slayer-like hoarse vocals. The riffs and furious solos have a pure force that will set fire to pits all over the world.

The band also signs tracks anchored in a crossover spirit. 'Grave Dive', 'Crank The Heat' and 'Putting On Errors' offer typical choruses and an intense heavy and speed side, notably in the vocals of a totally enraged Tony Foresta. 'Thermonuclear Protection' mixes old school thrash and crossover for a huge result.

You have to be patient to enjoy an opus of Municipal Waste but the game is always worth the candle. With "Electrified Brain", the band signs a burning opus cut in the best of a fast and intense Thrash.

SPHERES: Helios (2022)
PROGRESSIVE METAL - "Helios" wants to be without concession and goes further in the sound exploration than the previous album. Spheres confirms its high instrumental potential.
THE DEAR HUNTER: Antimai (2022)
PROGRESSIVE ROCK - Defying once again all the predictions, The Dear Hunter comes back in this year 2022 with a new concept based on a short film about an apocalyptic future, and a rather unexpected music.
