"Cattle Decapitation offers a terribly violent and appealing "Terrasite" cut in a classy Grind."

For more than twenty years, the Americans of Cattle Decapitation have been leading an intense fight against animal abuse by castigating the human species. Over the years, the band's style has evolved from a grind/gore that is not easy to grasp to an elaborate grind/death that gives strength to its discourse. The new stage is called "Terrasite" and pushes even further the misanthropy of the band, the cover representing a scary and dangerous mutant human. Describing what awaits the listener is quite easy.

Except for one title, it would be vain to highlight one or another song. The pattern does not change between 'Terrasi Adaptation' and 'Solastagia'. The tone oscillates between brutal death and grind with a bluffing Travis Ryan, as comfortable in cavernous vocals as in crazy growl. The rhythm is of a rare intensity and leaves little time to breathe, Dave McGraw seems almost inhuman behind his drums. This ocean of violence remains majestic by its intensity all in control. In the middle of the storms there are breaks, soaring passages, even aerial, with just the menacing growl in the middle of the calm.

With its ten minutes, 'Just Another Body' is a monster of intelligence that stands out. In the form of a rollercoaster, it alternates tender keyboard melody, furious death madness, soaring passages and ends calmly with clear vocals and a beautiful instrumental part full of finesse and great class. This more progressive track confirms the high technical quality of the musicians who are not satisfied with just making noise.

Listening to "Terrasite" is not recommended for chaste ears, as Cattle Decapitation remains a monster of death metal violence. But it is not only that, it is also capable of being catchy, confirming its status as a very special band within the extreme scene.

HARDCORE - "Regrets" is a sludge and hardcore album with an exacerbated cathartic essence that succeeds in its objective of being an expression of a certain malaise that will leave no one unscathed.
