""Nostalgia" is a fresh, uplifting record that's as much kick-ass speed metal as it is catchy, epic heavy metal."

We had to be patient to find the Swedish nugget of the new heavy metal generation. Enforcer took four years to come up with their seventh album, "Nostalgia". Having started out in speed metal, the band has evolved towards a traditional heavy metal, at the crossroads of Iron Maiden, Judas Priest and Helloween.
From the album name and cover, it's clear that Enforcer will continue to pay homage to the 80s. Most of the tracks are cut from fresh, uplifting speed metal. The melodies are effective, supported by fast, blistering riffs and solos. Olof's vocals soar with ease, particularly on the simple, straightforward choruses.
The band also offers a few more sedate tracks. 'Heartbeats' develops an epic mode reminiscent of Manilla Road; the catchy chorus works wonders with a dark, mysterious ambience in the spirit of the great ancients. 'Nostalgia' is the album's melodic gem. Enforcer does Scorpions with class: the epic chorus is splendid. The album is rounded off by a number of tracks cut from old-school heavy metal worthy of Saxon or Judas Priest.
"Nostalgia" is one of Enforcer's finest albums. By balancing the forces between speed and heavy, it has found a formula that will delight fans of old-school heavy metal, and is a strong contender for the title of album of the year. - Official website
