Three years after a critically acclaimed "Intuition", the Norwegian masters of Hard FM are back with "Realized Fantaisies". And while many are wondering how Ronnie Le Tekro's band is going to do to reedit a performance of the level of the one done with its previous opus, TNT decides to harden the tone without losing its identity.

For this, John Macaluso is recruited as drummer, and the least we can say is that he gives this album a power rarely reached until now, and all the other members of the band seem to be pushed to the top by this performance. Tony Harnell, who is already a vocal reference, rises even higher, and his performance on 'Rain' is simply breathtaking. Ronnie Le Tekro lines up irresistible riffs and soli with all the talent and originality that we already know. Morty Black is the perfect partner for Macaluso, and also the best bass player Le Tekro could hope for.

And what about the titles?! TNT offers us here the best of what he knows how to do,  starting with the unstoppable supercharged FM pieces such as 'Downhill Racer', 'Mother Warned Me', 'Rain' or 'Indian Summer' which surge in at full speed while keeping this inimitable sense of melody dear to Harnell and Le Tekro. The inevitable ballad is always present with the very moving 'Lionheart', without forgetting the more cheerful 'Easy Street' and its piano-saloon intro, or the syncopated 'All You Need' and its harmonica solo. Finally, even if the other tracks not mentioned are all of an excellent level, the hit of this album is the unavoidable and overpowering 'Purple Mountain's Majesty' and its monumental break.

"Realized Fantasies" is thus to be classified in the top three of TNT's works, and it is without any doubt, their most powerful production. Moreover, this album has the advantage of not having to undergo weak times. A must-have record for all the fans of powerful and melodic Hard FM, especially since it will be the only performance of John Macaluso within the Norwegian combo and that a break of several years will follow this little masterpiece.
