First album of this character having for stage name a simple letter: T. You understood it, "Naive" is the fruit of one and only man, composer, multi instrumentalist and even singer... A perilous exercise and a slight apprehension on the result that can give a work in solitary.

Generally, the first measures make it possible to define the turn that the various compositions of the album will take. An observation which is verified AND is not verified on "Naive". If it is certain that for the amateur of progressive rock of atmosphere, the first track leads to predict a good number of feelings, a certain number of surprises awaits him all along its course. Indeed, while keeping a certain homogeneity, the tracks alternate the styles, passing from an atmospheric content synthesizers/guitars, to a progressive electro genre very close to "Anoraknophobia" of Marillion.

Another characteristic of "Naive" comes from the rise in power starting from the piano and finishing in an apotheosis of percussions/synths absolutely amazing. Finally, to improve the whole, the vocals simply allow themselves to be staggering where we did not expect it. As well in the low notes as in the high ones, combining softness and power, matching the music perfectly, it would almost make you regret not having been used more.

This particular atmosphere in which bathes the album is a major asset which will make forget some clumsinesses. They are essentially characterized by outrageous repetitions of phrasing and two or three tracks with strange and experimental contents singularly lacking interest, unless you like synthetic mixes without harmony.

Once again, not being known is not synonymous of lack of talent and T proves it. The production doesn't suffer from any weaknesses and without the previously mentioned flaws, "Naive" could probably have been among the best progressive albums of 2002.

PROGRESSIVE ROCK - Anekdoten asserts a little more its taste for dark and tortured atmospheres, supported by melodies and rhythms in which Crimson influences can still be detected without difficulty.

PROGRESSIVE ROCK - With five tracks and some multimedia bonuses, this EP is primarily aimed at Arena fans.
