"My Religion" is one of those rare albums that received unanimous reviews upon release. A majority of them mentioned that it would be the ideal album to discover Melodic Hard Rock. A statement that is not without meaning.

For this new return of the Norwegian quartet (except for the American singer), the specifications are perfectly respected. TNT returns to the style that made their success. The sound is monumental, the riffs and the vocal lines totally accomplished, the arrangements worked and constantly renewed. TNT's personality is characterised by Harnell's high-pitched voice, capable of modulating it with great finesse, and by LeTekro's guitar, known for his famous right-hand technique, especially in his soli.

And it's hard to resist wonders like 'She Needs Me' with its huge riff or 'Live Today', two sumptuous tracks. The ballad 'Perfectly' is beautiful and the relaxing instrumental interludes, another trademark of Ronni LeTekro, are ideally placed. Other highlights include 'Everything U R' with its tangy chorus and 'Song 4 Dianne' with its indelibly charming female contribution.

"My Religion' is certainly one of TNT's finest achievements and ranks among the best melodic hard rock albums of all time. The challenge for the band will be to keep up with such a masterpiece.

OTHER REVIEWS
MARILLION: Marbles (2004)
PROGRESSIVE ROCK - If "Marbles" proposes less progressive, darker and more atmospheric atmospheres, Marillion's music does not regress for all that.
AYREON: The Human Equation (2004)
PROGRESSIVE ROCK - "The Human Equation" offers a rock always very personal mixing spatial sounds and big guitars but less striking than in "The Dream Sequencer" or "The Electric Castle".
