"If the darkness of "Noise" bothers you and if you are not entirely satisfied with the new path taken by the Archive with "Lights", "You All Look The Same To Me" should fully satisfy you."

With "You All Look The Same To Me", Archive signed the first album of the Craig Walker period. This was followed by a studio album and an acoustic live album and the three Englishmen split up to give their music a new direction. Before that, the band had made a name for themselves with two albums in the 90s, both of which were trip-hop oriented in the style of Massive Attack, and not without some success.

While 'Lights' is undoubtedly the highlight of the 2006 album of the same name, and 'Fuck U' is probably the ear-catching track on 'Noise', 'Again' is the track that is impossible to miss when talking about the music of a band like Archive. Some might say that this is the English trio's most accomplished track. The haunting and repetitive side is present, Craig Walker's heartbreaking voice is stirring and the keyboards added along the way are the trademark of their music.

And there's plenty of evidence to show that this album is a must-have. One example is the depressing 'Goodbye', in which the keyboards support the emotional vocals. This is an opportunity to highlight the work done on the lyrics. Craig Walker not only has a great voice, he is also an excellent lyricist who manages to express his deepest anxieties and other feelings on paper.

It is therefore highly recommended to listen to "You All Look The Same To Me". If the darkness of "Noise" bothers you or if you're not entirely satisfied with the new path taken by Archive with their album "Lights", a little diversions on this opus should be enough to charm you.

OTHER REVIEWS
QUEENSRŸCHE: Rage For Order (1986)
PROGRESSIVE METAL - While some tracks are still a little weak and others very adventurous, which will confuse some Queensrÿche fans, "Rage For Order" remains an excellent appetizer before the gigantic "Operation: Mindcrime".
UNITOPIA: The Garden (2008)
PROGRESSIVE ROCK - "The Garden" is undoubtedly one of the best albums released in 2008 in the progressive music with symphonic tendency.
